History of Celtic Mist Water
Tom Glynn, founder and Galway born business man has been fascinated with
vending as a way of providing a service to the public for sometime.
6 years ago he was the first person in Ireland to look at vending as a way of
providing mobile phone credit and had established 10 units in Dublin when credit
was available in card format.
The last three years of his life have been dedicated to the development of the Celtic
Mist concept. Over that period of time, Tom has single handedly taken the product
from concept to completion.
His background is in retail being born into a business in Williamstown Co.Galway. Tom completed his training in Dublin, and then went on to manage many different retail outlets including the Cope in Dungloe, Co Donegal being one of his most successful. Prior to the establishment of Celtic Mist, Tom had his own newsagency in Bray, Co Wicklow.
He was a major contributor to the Governments paper on below invoice selling which passed into law April 2006 and his contribution to the debate is documented in the dept of Trade & Commerce.
